Our Staff
The Lalama Chiropractic Clinic, Inc., has been in business since 1989. After a year of practice in the Chicago area, Dr. Lalama came back to his roots and opened his practice on Javit Court in Austintown where he remained until 2006. Since then, we have been at our new location located on Westchester Drive.

Patrick A. Lalama, D.C.
Dr. Lalama is a licensed chiropractic physician practicing in Austintown, OH. He graduated from Liberty High School, attended Youngstown State University and the National College of Chiropractic in Lombard, Illinois located just outside of Chicago. He graduated from National College in August of 1987. He worked as an associate in Chicago area for one year before returning to the Youngstown area to start his own practice.
He has been in private practice since 1989 specializing in the treatment of neuromusculoskeletal conditions including neck pain, low back pain and headaches as well as injuries that are auto and work related. He also offers nutritional counseling for general well being and for conditions not responding to conventional medical therapies.
He is a member of the American Chiropractic Association, the Ohio State Chiropractic Association, and past president of the Eastern Ohio Chiropractic Society (representing Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana counties).
Dr Lalama and his wife, Lori, have two children and reside in Canfield, Ohio.
Matt Brungard, N.D.*
Matt Brungard has been affiliated with the Lalama Chiropractic Clinic since November of 2007. Matt has been a MSA practitioner since 1992, certified from the Hololinguistic Institute in Toronto, Canada and the Energetix School of EAV in Dahlonega, Georgia. He has been a Naturopath for since1998 receiving his certification from The Clayton School of Natural Healing. He has utilized the BioSet technique for the treatment of allergies. Matt has also been trained in natural healing approaches by some of the best doctors in the country. It is Matt's desire to help as many people as possible reach their peak potential.
Matt has successfully worked with many tough conditions throughout his career including multiple chemical sensitivity, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, irritable bowel syndrome, Crohn's disease, hypothyroidism, food allergies and migraine headaches through more natural methods that he employs in the office.
Matt enjoys helping his dad and mom work the family farm, leading worship at his church and spending time with his family. He and his wife Amy were foster parents with Mahoning County Children Services and have since adopted 5 children.
Frank W. Arundel, Jr., LMT *
Frank is a licensed massage therapist. He graduated from Liberty High School, attended YSU and the Ohio College of Massotherapy in Akron. He graduated from the Ohio College of Massotherapy in March of 1996 and received his license to practice massage therapy from the Ohio State Medical Board in July of 1996. Since then, he has worked in a physical therapy facility and a physician's office. He has been in private practice since 2006. He joined the Lalama Chiropractic Clinic in June of 2010.
Frank is certified and has had extensive training in the treatment of neuromuscular conditions such as muscle spasms, headaches, neck and low back pain as well as upper and lower extremity problems. He also offers treatment for sports and work-related injuries, as well as those caused by automobile accidents. Frank is committed to remaining current on latest in neuromuscular treatment procedures. He has become proficient in performing neuromuscular therapy, sports massage and myofascial release techniques. He is also a BWC certified provider.
Frank and his wife, Grazia, have two daughters and reside in Canfield, Ohio.
Judith DeJoseph, LMT
Judy is a licensed massage therapist. She is originally from Rochester, NY and has a BS in Biology from Binghamton University. In 2017, she graduated from the Mahoning Valley School of massotherapy and received her license to practice massage therapy in March 2017. Judy joined the Lalama Chiropractic clinic in June 2017.

Matthew A. Emerick, LMT
Matthew A. Emerick, LMT Matthew is a licensed message therapist. He graduated from Chaney High School in Youngstown, Ohio in 1987. He graduated from Tri-State College of Massotherapy in North Lima, Ohio in April of 2005. Matthew received his license to practice message therapy from the Ohio State Medical Board in July of 2005.
Matthew has had extensive training in Ortho-Bionomy, which is a gentle, non- invasive, osteopathically –based form of body therapy. It is effective in relieving chronic stress injuries and pain using gentle movements and positions of the body. Ortho-Bionomy is very effective in helping alleviate both acute and chronic pain by reducing muscle tension, soothing joints, increasing flexibility, improving circulation, and relaxing the entire body.

Amy Vesey, LMT
Amy is a Licensed Massage Therapist and joined the Lalama Chiropractic family in July 2022. She completed the massage therapy program at Columbus State Community College and received her licensed to practice from the Ohio State Medical Board in February 2020. Amy loves helping people in their wellness journey.
Amy and her husband, Doug, reside in Warren, Ohio. They have two children. Amy enjoys gardening, crafting, and traveling to see family.
